HELVETAS – One World Calendar

THE ONE WORLD CALENDAR illustrates with high-quality, authentic, and insightful images the commonalities of the various peoples of the Earth. It thereby promotes understanding of other cultures and the ability to empathize with the people of these cultures. The editors, nonprofit organizations, have joined together in an international working group that produces the One World Calendar in five languages. The group's common mission is the fight against poverty and injustice in the world. Thus, the group works together every year to select images of the highest quality for the One World Calendar. Whenever possible, we take into account photos by photographers from countries of the Global South. We develop the design concept, texts, and marketing ideas together. And we place importance on environmentally friendly printing and production methods.
